Virtual Remembrance Day Ceremony

Thank you to Retired Master Warrant Officer Herb Johnson for joining each classroom to talk about the importance of Remembrance Day. In order to stop conflict, it all starts here, in our building, by educating our students. His message of the importance of education and to love everyone resonated with all of our students.

Retired Master Warrant Officer Johnson is a long-time Stavely resident and has spoken at our school for many years. He was deployed to the Korean War and Vietnam War as a paratrooper and then spent many years as a Peacekeeper.

He ensures his message is relevant and personal to each of our students. They know that getting a good education and loving everyone are key to stopping conflict. Mr. Johnson applauded educators and encouraged our female students to not let anything get in their way. Stavely School thanks Mr. Johnson for always joining us.
